#tekenjeboodschapchallenge; Be-You-tiful

(ENGLISH translation : scroll down!)

Dus mijn boodschap is eigenlijk: Be-You-tiful. Wees jezelf. Altijd. En wees dat het liefst!

No it’s not a #fridayintroductions 🤪 almost.
@tekenjeboodschap is a Dutch company that hosted a challenge this week. They say EVERYONE can draw. And after this week I’m really convinced this is a fact!

Their 5day challenge ended with this assignment to pitch yourself and your profession… BUT I don’t want to use these skills to promote my own message… (maybe a little because I really think my students would benefit from visual elements!) But I want to use this #drawingyourmessage the other way around: to be able to draw someone else’s message within the time he’s talking, teaching or preaching- I want to upgrade my #sketchnote skills… that’s why I really liked this challenge. … so back to the my Pitch and what you see in it (hope it was obvious without my explanation 🤪)

* 2 rings and 23+ (resembling my happy marriage!) * 2 baby milkbottles with numbers 19 and 21 and male symbols (age of both my sons) * stack of books with on top the bible (I am a christian – but I also like to read simple novels 🤪) * rainy cloud and sun: resembling my moodswings and my #fightingdepressionandanxiety * My Job as a (High school) teacher – teaching about religion and Life philosophy) *painting as a symbol for my creativity *arrows: everything is connected : you cannot separate each part, just differentiate.

Neither of these defines who I am and yet they’re all important… I’m not my job, my skills or hobbies… I’m me.
And you know: being yourself through it all often is the hardest part… And when it all comes together I mostly want to spread the message BE-YOU-TIFUL ; you are Gods original creation!
